Purpose South Derbyshire CVS is a voluntary sector development agency. Its aim is to support the voluntary and community sector within South Derbyshire by providing advice, information and practical support to individuals and groups. It is funded by a variety of sources but the core funding comes from South Derbyshire District Council and Derbyshire County Council. The projects are funded by Health and Social Care Partnership funding and income generation.

Our aim is to work with civil society organisations (voluntary and community sector organisations) and individuals to improve the quality of life in South Derbyshire.
Services We provide information, advice and support to increase capacity and quality of civil society organisations. We also work in partnership to plan, improve and develop services and ensure that the views of civil society organisations are represented.

Meeting Place We are based at the above address in Swadlincote but we can offer services away from our base at times and venues convenient to our clients.
