Purpose

The branch offers companionship, comfort and support to those with Parkinson's and their family & carers. Informative literature and videos on various aspects of Parkinson's are also available. We want to raise awareness about Parkinson's in the area so that people understand it better. We also fundraise so that we can provide the group activities, and support research into finding better treatments and a cure for the condition.
Services

We arrange activities and events to support people affected by Parkinson's. We are a friendly & sociable group and hope that you can join us at one of our meetings. We sometimes arrange a speaker, and there is always time for people to chat over a cuppa. We organise outings, provide information leaflets and we also have access to Local Advisers through the confidential helpline 0808 800 0303.
