Purpose Established in 1988, Derbyshire Carers Association support carers who look after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of their illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problems or an addiction and cannot cope without their support. The care they give is unpaid.
Services We offer information, advice and guidance, emergency planning, carers assessments, training and breaks, befriending service, social connectedness service, legal clinic and young carers service.

Opening Times Our offices are open Monday to Thursday 9:00-16:30 and Friday 9:00-16:00.
Eligibility Criteria Our services are available to informal / unpaid carers who care for someone living in Derbyshire.
Meeting Place Carer Assessments take place on the phone within our offices in Derby, Chesterfield and Ripley. Carer support workers can also book a home visit at the carer's address. We have Carers Clinics in certain GP practices.
