| Purpose | As a community cricket club the main objectives of the organisation are to offer opportunities for all to play & participate in the game of cricket and take part fully in the activities of the club. This can be as players or as members/ volunteers of the club. |
| Services | Briefly the services/ activities of the club are as follows: - Provision of cricket playing opportunities for players of all ages & ability. - Provision of training opportunities for all members of the club. - Maintenance of the clubhouse & ground at the Copper Yard, High Bank, Denby Village - Support & training of volunteers involved in the running of the club - the club is run exclusively by volunteers. - Work within the community to allow wide usage of the facility. This can include use of the clubhouse by other groups in the community or use of the ground for activities for example the local schools. - Organisation of social events for the club members & the wider community. - We work with different organisations to try & maximise use of the facilities. Services are available to club members & others in the local community. The club has an open membership policy with the only limitation being numbers of members that the facility can accommodate. There has never been a need to restrict members to date. |
