| Description | Wash arts is a community-led not for profit arts organisation tyhat was established in order to increase opportunities for people in Erewash and surrounding areas to become involved in The Arts. We develop and coordiante a range of projects in collaboration with groups from the community including events, creative projects, exhibitions, commissions and performances. We work with a wide range of art forms including photography, music, dance creative writing and 2 and 3 D visual arts and crafts and draw on a pool of professional artists to facilitate projects. We recognise the power of The Arts to give voice to local people whilst building skills, self esteem and local pride and strengthening our community and developing opportunities for local artists. |
