| Purpose | Remap is a national charity of which the Derby, Burton & district Panel is the local group covering Derbyshire and East Staffordshire, whose purpose is to help people with disabilities. |
| Services | Remap focuses on people for whom the mainstream services have not been able to provide suitable equipment to counteract their disability. Remap will not make equipment that is available through other sources such as the NHS or commercial organisations, but it will modify such equipment to suit a person’s particular need. Remap volunteers take the trouble to ensure that each item they make really suits the individual person concerned and does the job it is meant to do. |

| Opening Times | No limitations On receiving a request for help a Remap volunteer will arrange to visit the client’s home, usually with the referrer, and agree the details of what is needed. They will then go away and produce the aid and then deliver it to the client, again with the referrer present to make sure it is satisfactory. |
