Description | The Rambling Club is a group for all ages who go countryside walking on footpaths in Derbyshire and the surrounding area. We also sometimes use coaches to visit and walk in other parts of the country. Walking holidays and social events are also organised. To protect the interests of ramblers and to maintain their rights and privileges. To encourage the pastime of rambling, foster as greater enjoyment and knowledge of the countryside and other activities as approved by the Committtee. To obtain public access to uncultivated mountains and moorlands and the protection of all existing rights of way. |

Services | A two monthly programme of walks issued over a twelve month period. A monthly coach trip to different places of interest, generally includes a walk. Indoor club nights, with speakers, during the winter months. Evening walks during the summer months. |

Opening Times | Walks every Sunday and Thursday once a month. Coaches are once a month on a Saturday. Summer evening walks are once a month on Thursdays. Club nights are once a month on a Wednesday. |
Eligibility Criteria | Membership is open to all age groups. |
Meeting Place | We meet at Long Eaton Town Hall Car Park. The Green. Long Eaton also Long Eaton Leisure Centre Car Park. See programme for final details of meeting place. |
Service Costs | Fees for membership shall be an amount to be decided by the committee and reviewed annually. There are no concessions. |
