Purpose To support older people in Tameside to remain active, maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Services Information and advice - we provide free assistance with welfare benefits, homelessness and housing problems, debt issues, financial issues associated with approaching retirement, consumer issues and legal advice.

In your home:
Services in the community - supports people to maintain independence & prevent social isolation.
Handyperson, Minor adaptation & Gardening service - Practical help with a range of small jobs in the home & garden.

In your community:
The Shed - Provides men aged 55+ the opportunity to be creative to reduce isolation.
Internet facilities - Helping older people make the most of IT. The free sessions provide individuals the opportunity to learn the basics from our friendly tutors.

Buddying Service - Helping to reduce isolation

Bradbury House Community social Group - Our community social group in Glossop provides activities and support for people aged 60+ who are in danger of becoming socially isolated. Members can enjoy lunch together, participate in games and activities, arts and crafts, gardening and other hobbies, and transport can be arranged.
