| Purpose | New MIlls and District Volunteer Centre serves a small semi-rural community in Central High Peak and the services we offer reflect the nature of this community. We aim to identify gaps in community care, to respond to the needs of elderly, disabled and isolated people and those with mental health problems or learning difficulties; meeting those identified gaps, which can appropriately be met by volunteer activity. The Centre offers a range of services and groups activities and recruits, supports and trains volunteers. We also act as an information point. We offer a range of services and group activities to older people and those with disabilities. |
