Purpose

To promote friendship between the people of Buxton and Oignies (France).



To commemorate the sacrifice of fallen soldiers in the 2nd World War whose bodies are buried in Oignies cemetery
Services

We encourage families to join us in our exchange visits to Oignies and to host French families on the return visit.
We have fundraising activities throughout the year to finance the visits in both directions

Opening Times A small committee runs the month to month activities of the organisation and plans and arranges the visits. Details of upcoming events are on the website.
Eligibility Criteria Any individual or family interested in exchange visits to Oignies is welcome to join the organisation
Meeting Place Committee meetings are held in the home of a committee member. The AGM is held in October usually at the Burbage Institute in Buxton
Service Costs The membership fee is £20 pp per year. Reductions for children.
