Purpose To advance the education of women and girls for the public benefit including local, national and international issues of political and social importance including; music, art and craft, science, health and social welfare.
Locally our aim is to draw the community together. We have since 2011 re-introduced an Annual Produce Show which has been very successful and this year (2013) our first craft show in conjunction with the local craft club. Both aimed at adults & children.
Services Apart from the regular WI meetings the institute facilitates and enables many groups in the parish to rent our hall for their activities some of which are to raise money for the local charities e.g. mobile physio and cancer research.
