Purpose | The Centre aims to promote mutual understanding between people of different faiths and beliefs and to build respect between people as fellow human beings. Embracing ethical values as a guide to practical action. To provide an inclusive, safe, accessible environment dedicated to education and innovation in its broadest sense within the field of religion and belief. The Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Derby provides a neutral space where people from different religious traditions or none can meet to develop mutual respect and understanding through education and dialogue. The activities include short courses on different faith traditions; lectures; debates; workshops; conferences and celebrations of faith and cultural festivals. |
