| Services | We currently operate nineteen minibuses, eighteen of which are adapted to carry wheelchair users in a safe and comfortable manner. We also operate one adapted MPV. This has the capacity of three seated passengers and one wheelchair user. These provide a Dial-a Bus service in and around the Erewash Borough |

| Eligibility Criteria | Community Transport is the provision of transport for all community and voluntary groups. We can provide an affordable and accessible way of increasing your groups' activities to maximise the benefit to your members. We have a great deal of experience of dealing with the elderly and/or vulnerable, own a large fleet of vehicles and pride ourselves on being highly flexible. Vehicles are available for use by a wide range of organisations including: Voluntary and Charitable groups, Health Authorities, Local, County, Councils, Schools, Colleges, Scouts, Brownies, Special Needs Associations |
| Service Costs | Affiliation (membership) costs £22.00 per annum or you may prefer to pay the daily rate of £6.00 each time you use the vehicle. The cost for this service with a paid Erewash Community Transport driver, during office hours 0930-1730 Monday to Friday is £16.00 per hour. With groups or ECT volunteer driver the cost is £1.10 per mile for the first 80 miles, £1.00 per mile thereafter. We cannot always guarantee to provide a volunteer driver so groups are advised to supply their own driver drivers where possible. All drivers must undergo our MiDAS training course. NB: A minimum charge of £25.00 applies to this service. For period transport with groups that supply their own ECT trained volunteer driver the charges are: Daily Rate £26.00 Plus mileage rate of 90p per mile inclusive of fuel and insurance. - Parking fees must be paid by the group/individual booking the vehicle. ECT is not responsible for parking fees. - Groups should ensure vehicles are returned with half a tank of fuel. - Cancelled bookings with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a £20.00 administration charge. - Valeting charge of £25.00 applies if vehicles are returned in a dirty condition. - Invoices are issued on the last working day of the month. Our terms are 14 days from receipt of invoice. |
