| Purpose | Swadlincote Community Transport is a registered charity, set up to provide accessible transport services for anyone who is unable to use public transport (for reasons of age, infirmity or disability) or for whom public transport is unavailable. Services are provided at low cost, enabling us to play a valuable role in the concept of integrated living within the community. All services are door to door - passengers are collected from and returned to their home address. |
| Services | Dial a Bus is a door to town shopping service, operating throughout the South Derbyshire District. Contract Service this service is usually provided Monday to Friday to schools and colleges. Group Transport this service is used by groups or individuals. Transport can be provided for luncheon clubs, brownies, schools etc. Active Travel this is used for journeys relating to health and wellbeing (appointments for doctors, dentist, chiropodist or hospital) |

| Service Costs | Dial a Bus £3.00 with a gold card £4.40 without Group Transport £28.00 per hour this is base to base, plus affiliation of £9.00 per day or annual fee of £28.00 Active Travel this is free until we pick you up then 0.80p per mile to your destination the driver does wait, the first hour is free then £4.00 per hour or is broken down into the quarters then 0.80p per mile return |
