| Purpose | The Society is established for the public benefit for the following purposes in the area administered by the Whaley Bridge Town Council comprising Frenilee, Taxal, Horwich,Whaley, Hockerley, Bridgemont, Yeardsley and Furness Vale (i.e. the area of benefit) (i)To promote high standards of planning and architecture in or affecting the area of benefit.
