Description | To give women the opportunity to learn new skills, gain confidence and become independent, inclusive members of their community. DAWTA was set up over 20 years ago by local women who recognised the consequences of isolation, exclusion, unemployment on their health & wellbeing, cohesion etc and resolved to address these issues through education and training delivered within a women only environment. Contrary to the name, DAWTA actually works with ALL women irrespective of their background. |
