Purpose | The Derby Association of Community Partners (DACP) is a voluntary organisation for tenants, community groups and other partner agencies that was formed in 1995. We are an established group of tenants who volunteer our time to make sure Derby Homes are providing you with an excellent service. We have good, in-depth knowledge of housing issues and how Derby Homes operates as a company. This means we’re in a good position to be able to help you if you have an idea how they could improve or if you have an issue you need resolving. We hold regular “open meetings” on every last Monday of the month (or a week earlier if that falls on a bank holiday). They take place in the large training room at Derby Homes’ London Road depot on London Road. All Derby Homes tenants are welcome to attend any of these meetings, where we discuss housing and tenancy related issues and Derby Homes performance against targets. Our annual general meeting takes place in May every year. We also work with Derby Homes to improve services by carrying out inspections of empty properties that are ready to let and by talking to tenants who have experienced a service to find out how the service was for them from start to finish |
