| Purpose | The Association is open to individuals who are members of the Ravidass Community in Derbyshire. Corporate membership is open to the Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha. The Association provides volunteers to help elderly people, women, children, youth and long term sick. It offers advice, information, training and support on a wide range of issues. Premises are accessible for wheelchair users. Creche facilities available during keep fit, ladies' step class, self-defence and computer classes. This is a registered charity organisation providing community facilities. A large hall which is hired out to the public for weddings and birthday celebtraions. Local authority uses it as a polling station. Counciillors use it as their surgeries. Local arts organisations use the hall to host arts and health related activities. A large vacant meeting room for after school classes, IT room and meetings. Large kitchen for cooking facility. Has own car park. |
