| Purpose | Rathbone is a national charity working in partnerships to realise people's potentials and to achieve their aspirations. The Centre at Derby offers youth training, leading towards apprenticeships in retail, warehousing and manufacturing. Trainees work on placement with local employers for three to five days each week, returning to the Centre for help with literacy, numeracy and work related knowledge as necessary. Entry to Employment (E2E) programme delivered supporting young people aged 16-18 to enter employment, training or college, working on personal and social development, basic skills, key skills, employability. They also deliver a part time Youth Choices programme for young people at risk of or excluded from school, re-engaging them into education. |
