Purpose The library offers a wide range of books and multi-media materials available to anyone to use and borrow free of charge. There are no restrictions on age for joining the library or on where people live. The library is accessible to people in wheelchairs. More specialist collections of information on careers, university and course prospectuses, business and company information are also available. The Library has newspapers, periodicals, jigsaws, audio books, DVD's and CDs for loan. There are PCs for internet and word processing use. A fax service is also available.The library also has a life long learning role.
