Purpose The Sea Cadet Corps is a charitable youth organisation and not a pre-service organisation. The aim is to provide an organisation based on the naval way of life where young people can develop qualities of self discipline, leadership and a sense of responsibility to the community. Boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 are eligible. There is also a junior section for 10 to 12 years.
