| Purpose | The Hall was given to the village of Allestree as a memorial to those who died in two world wars. It is a meeting place for educational and social functions. It is self financing and run by a committee comprising volunteers from all village groups. To book the hall ring: 01332 550882. Activities at the hall include dance classes (Fridays/Saturdays), art workshops (Mondays), Aerobics (Mondays), retired club (Tuesdays), exercise over 50's (Thursdays), bridge Club (Sunday, Thursday afternoon/evening, Friday afternoon and Sunday evening) and small children's parties (Saturday and Sunday afternoons). |
