Purpose DACA promotes recreational and educational opportunities in order to enhance the quality of life of Darley Abbey. DACA also runs the Village Hall, which plays host to various children's groups, aerobic groups, artist and wine groups, Guides and Brownies, dog groups etc and also provides a venue for entertainment groups to put on plays and shows. It holds an annual arts and crafts exhibition and many fund raising activities such as quizzes, musical and magic evenings and jumble sales. It is also available for private hire for parties. wedding receptions and other social activities.
