Purpose There are three defined aims of the Society which are: to provide care and assistance to sufferers, to support research into the causes and cure of PD and to improve the understanding of PD by the general public. Assistance with problems such as welfare facilities or disability benefits is provided by a part time Information Support Officer either by phone or personal visit. The branch produces a monthly newsletter and holds a monthly meeting. This will be at The Spot, Sacheverel St, Tel: 01332 346702 at 1.30pm on first Wednesday of each month.
