Whilst Lions in the UK are mainly known for their fundraising and charity work, their concerns include the promotion of high ethical standards and the fostering of social and moral welfare of the community. Derby Lions meet twice a month at Mickleover Golf Club. They aim to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for the humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation. |
