| Purpose | The people of St Osmund's Church commit themselves to serving God in the local community. The church offers friendship and a sense of belonging. Services and activities are as follows: Family Eucharist - Sundays 10am, Said Eucharist - Tuesdays 7pm, Wednesday 10:30am and Saturday 8.30am. For those who live in the parish the church offers baptism preparation for parents of infants or for adults who wish to be baptised, marriage preparation sessions for those wishing to get married and funeral or memorial services. It is open to non-church people. The Women's Group meets monthly. There are two house Groups, one on Friday afternoon and the other on Tuesday evening. On Sunday evenings we have a chat room between 7-9 pm in the Church Hall, a chance to quiz the Vicar and learn about the Christian faith. |
