Purpose

We know there is an urgent need to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of our children. Schools in the UK are well placed in identifying problems and make sure that children get the support they need. Talk Time is an innovative approach to help children aged 5 to 11 with identifying any causes of difficulties in order to find ways to overcome the problem and reduce the impact on the child. Talk time improves attainment and attendance for schools and more importantly children’s wellbeing, as it helps alleviate the difficulties the child is experiencing. Talk Time we believe, reduces referrals to CAMHS and Social Care services.
