Purpose Refuge is the UK's largest single provider of specialist accommodation and support to women and children escaping domestic violence. Refuge adopts an integrated approach working with other agencies. Refuge's objective in working with women and children who have been abused is to help and support them. They have an outreach service based in Burton, Derby and Stoke. They specialise in working with women from a South Asian background.
