Purpose The centre is open to the public and provides independent advice and information regarding disability. The service aims to promote independent living and enable people to make informed decisions about their daily life. We offer an Information Point and Assessment Room. Social Services and NHS staff can use areas for patient assessment, or individuals can self assess using small aids/equipment based at the centre. Disability aids - retain and mail order. Items can be bought directly from the centre or mail order. Items sold at discount rates. Medical Loan - provides a variety of equipment for loan of up to 6 weeks at no charge - donations welcome.
