Purpose The Light House Specialist Nursery Team is an integrated service of Education, Health and Social Care professionals for the under 5s.

The nursery helps children to enjoy activities in a supported environment. A range of sensory activities both indoors and outdoors in our sensory garden area are available to the children who attend nursery.

The teacher, in partnership with parents and other professionals, sets targets for each child. These are reviewed each term.

Health therapy teams support the children in the nursery, ensuring they have regular and specific physiotherapy and speech and language therapy support.

Children and families have access to a range of supportive services, including a full educational curriculum from our teaching staff and social care support if required.

Places are allocated once a common assessment has identified the need.
