Purpose Oaklands Forum is a group of service users supported by Oaklands Community Care. Oaklands Community Care is a Derby based organisation that promotes independence and inclusivity in the community. Oaklands Forum role is to encourage volunteers to become involved. Their role is then supporting services users to access groups, hobbies and social activities that they would otherwise be unable to attend.nnOaklands Community Care supports people who have either learning disabilities and/or mental ill health difficulties. All volunteers have POVA and CRB checks and undergo induction training before supporting service users.
