Purpose Derventio Housing Trust is a registered social landlord providing housing and support to people facing homelessness. We offer safe and secure accommodation and intensive housing management to support people to look after their health and wellbeing, develop independent living skills and ultimately reduce the risk of them facing homelessness again.
Services We deliver a range of specialist services to empower people to make positive changes and take control of their lives, including:
• Supported housing: Shared supported accommodation dispersed in properties across the community for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
• Home4Me: Working with people in Derby facing multiple exclusion and homelessness into accommodation and working with them to sustain their housing
• Growing Lives: An urban community garden, workshop and training kitchen providing people with opportunities to develop their self-confidence, increase motivation, gain new skills, reduce social isolation and improve their health and wellbeing
• Skills for the Future: Providing personalised support to take the next steps towards education, training or employment for young people, with supported housing where needed
• Building Better Opportunities Towards Work: Working alongside people furthest away from the labour market as they take steps towards gaining employment
• Building Better Opportunities Opportunity and Change: Working alongside people with multiple and complex needs to overcome challenges and barriers they face in their everyday lives
• Healthy Futures: Working with people who are homeless in hospital to secure and maintain sustainable accommodation, with appropriate support packages in place, and providing temporary supported accommodation, to help Chesterfield Royal Hospital by making it possible for people to be discharged as soon as medically fit

Opening Times Our services operate on working weekdays. Our office is open 9am – 5pm
Eligibility Criteria Our services are for anyone who has housing difficulties. Referrals can be made directly to Derventio or through the council.

Service Costs Services free of charge. Growing Lives – funded places for anyone in Derventio services, or where funding covers the places. Otherwise, £50 a day.
