Purpose Derbyshire Pride promotes equality and diversity and advances education to eliminate discrimination against the lesbian, gam, bisexual and trans (LGBT) community across the whole of Derbyshire.nnDerbyshire Pride raises awareness of issues by promoting and staging a series of events including the Rainbow Ball, a parade through the central streets of Derby and an annual free Pride festival staged at the Bass Recreation Ground.
