| Purpose | Impact Derby's purpose is to steer young people away from the gang lifestyle and criminal activity. We proactively work to raise the achievements of the young people in our community by encouraging them to become part of something more postive, to make different choices that do no involve offending or reoffending given the exit strategies, providing training and guidance as well as empowering the wider community. We provide advice and assistance to the partnership of the police and the multi-agency gangs team. Working together on local issues to prevent the escalation of gang related activity in the city of Derby. The groups role extends to engaging with the hard to reach community. |
