Purpose The aims and objectives are to offer a flexible and responsive day care service to older people who live in the Chesterfield area,by providing a safe environment in which their health and well being can maintained by reducing isolation, providing stimulating activities, and enabling members to maintain and develop their current skills.
Services A day care service is provided 7 days a week.
The service is targeted at meeting the differing needs and requirements of members.
Various age-appropriate activities are provided which respond to members' assessed needs.

Opening Times A service is provided 7 days a week. Transport will pick up from 9am and all sevice users will be returned home by 4.30pm. Members will receive day care between 10am and 3pm.
Eligibility Criteria Referrals are mainly through Derbyshire Social Care. There are limited places for self referrals.
Meeting Place The main venue is at Tontine Road in Chesterfield. There are 15 Outreach groups which operate from 11 locations.
Service Costs There is currently a charge for attendance which is being reviewed in line with personalisation agenda. More information will be available at a later date. Charges are made for bingo and raffle which are provided on a daily basis.
