| Purpose | Somercotes Scout Group provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for young people aged 6-25 in and around Somercotes, Leabrooks, Riddings and Ironville. Everyday Adventure is at the core of everything we do. We believe that through adventure we challenge individuals so that they learn and experience new things that enrich their lives. We believe that young people develop most when they take part, are given responsibility, when they work in teams and when they take acceptable risks. We achieve this by providing an exciting and adventurous activities programmes guided by adults and a team of active volunteer supporters. |
