| Purpose | HEMI Hearts is a voluntary community group, founded and operated by parents. Established to provide a support group for children and families living with hemiplegia. |
| Services | We provide a monthly after school therapeutic play group, including access to specialist health professionals and giving families a chance to get together for a chat. We offer friendship, an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on and a smile to celebrate achievements. Our monthly support group runs from 3.30/4pm to 6pm on the fourth Friday of each month at Jubilee Club, Chaddesden. Each month the group is themed and involves various activity stations for children to move around, taking part in a variety of activities including, craft, sensory, movement and play. At each group a meal is provided for the children. |
