Purpose | The "Macular Society Buxton & Beyond Support Group" was formed for the support of persons with macular disease by bringing together those affected, including family or carers, so that they may encourage each other through advice and example to build self-confidence and live more independent lives. |
Services | Speakers and activities in pursuit of the aims. The group also owns and manages an equipment library for visually impaired people housed at Buxton Public Library. Members of the library living in the High Peak or Derbyshire Dales can borrow items for up to 6 weeks. |
