Purpose

In everything we do we seek to make a positive difference to older people's lives. Our work can touch their lives directly. We provide practical help and support to carers and older people. We seek to influence services which affect older people's quality of life. We take care to value diversity and include and involve people from all communities.



Age UK Derby and Derbyshire exists for the benefit and wellbeing of older people in Derbyshire. Our vision: We want later life to be better.



The Chaddesden Centre is for older people living in Chaddesden or Derby city.
Services

We offer:



A wide variety of regular services and events, sporting clubs, social groups and occasional activities.



Some of the current activities include:



Ballroom dancing, Keep Fit, Chair based classes, First click computer courses , Craft workshops for grandparents and grandchildren and a Music and Drama Intergenerational Project.
