Purpose

The Powderkegs appear at events near and far dancing the vibrant living tradition of Border Morris. Loud and lively! We dance Border Morris. Border Morris is lively and noisy, with bells, yells, and clashing sticks! It comes from English counties which border Wales and it's hundreds of years old.

We perform at events throughout Derbyshire and further afield. See the events page on our website for more details.

We run special beginners sessions in September, but whatever the time of year, if you are interested please contact our membership secretary on powderkegsmembership@gmail.com or talk to us on Facebook or twitter.
