Purpose To create opportunities for youngsters from all backgrounds to play football both with their schools and in sports facilities, with the emphasis placed on skills development.

To encourage participation in football from parts of the community that traditionally have had less opportunity.

To create an awareness of the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle and of keeping fit in mind and body through playing football and being involved in outdoor pursuits.

Opening Times Course: Girls football coaching Date/Time: Monday evenings (6.15 to 8.15pm) Ages 8-12 (6.15 to 7.15pm) Ages 13-16 (7.15 to 8.15pm) Location: Belper Town Football Club Price: £2.50 per session (first four sessions free to new members) Course: Saturday Skills Academy Date/Time: Saturday mornings (8.30 to 9.45am) Belper Meadows Hockey Pitch, Christchurch Meadow, Belper (from 13 November 2010) Location: Thornton's Playing Fields, Derwent Street, Belper (to 5 March 2011) Price: £3.50 per session Age/Ability: Ages 5 to 10 (all abilities) Course: Summer Fun Weeks Date/Time: School holidays (10.00am to 3.00 pm) - 2011 dates to be confirmed Location: Belper Town Football Club and Thornton Playing Fields Price: £10 per person per day or £40 per person for full week Age/Ability: Ages 6 to 14 (all abilities) Football for disabled children, Wednesdays 5 till 6pm, ages 5 to 16 (with any disability) £3 per session. Location : The Holbrook centre.
