Purpose

To run the village hall as efficiently as possible for the benefit of all users.
Services

We aim for a maximum capacity of up to 100 people seated. This must be discussed on booking, due to restricted parking for the hall.
Club activities, Fitness Groups, Line Dance, Karate, birthday parties, wakes, christening & family parties, church events together with commercial bookings are all welcomed regularly.
Tables & chairs are provided together with a modern kitchen suitable for serving food and drinks in the main hall.
Bookings are no longer available for bouncy castle or inflatable’s parties.

Opening Times Mon - Friday - the hall is open daily with a weekday programme of planned events. Warm Welcome lunch runs every Tuesday 12-2pm Weekends 9am - 6pm The finish time for events is early evening for parties. Any later finish time has to be agreed by the trustees before booking can be confirmed. Overstaying the finish time will be charged. A returnable deposit is charged for all confirmed bookings.
Eligibility Criteria Individuals and organisations preferably from Findern and surrounding villages though not exclusively.
Meeting Place Castle Hill, Findern.
Service Costs There is a scale of charges depending upon whether hirers are organisations, individuals or commercial companies. Typically for individuals £15 per hour, plus a deposit, which is returned if hall is left as found and hirers leave at time booked. There is no extra setting up or closing down time, this must be included into the hire session.
