| Purpose | Our core business in running Dial-a-Bus services which operate over scheduled routes across the southern Derbysire Dales and East Staffordshire to local market towns providing a door-to-door travel link. It is aimed at passengers who cannot use or do not have access to scheduled public services. We also provide services to allow people access to support, recreation and medical services and shopping. We also have Group Travel which is a pre-bookable service for Community Groups who affiliate. Ashbourne Community Transport provides transport for people who have difficulty in accessing public transport through age or infirmity. There are currently 11 fully adapted minibuses. Transport is also provided for Day Care Lunch groups, Social Services contracts and excursions and evening tours. |
