Purpose To help and support families experiencing difficulties at home or in school by providing short courses aimed at having fun through activity based learning. Family members will learn to communicate and increase their confidence in the learning of new skills. This improves interaction between family members, making the quality of their home lives better and reducing antisocial behaviour and criminal offences.
Services We provide transport, and food where appropriate. Volunteers provide support on different levels, helping out at courses where parents cannot attend, offering emotional and physical support.
Volunteers also where appropriate may help with transport, attend meetings or liaise with other agencies to maintain communications between client and referee/agency and project to make sure they get the full support of the project.
