| Purpose | International Women’s Day Derby aims to improve the quality and equality of life for girls and women, creating a brighter, safer, healthier and fairer future. We want to inspire greater confidence and self-esteem, raise aspirations, boost wellbeing, improve safety from harm, reduce isolation and bring girls and women together to celebrate achievements and inspire action to make things better. We are inclusive and passionate about diversity and welcome non-female supporters, too. |
| Services | Our main activity is an annual event to celebrate International Women’s Day. This is marked globally on 8th March each year. We deliver an event around this time each year in Derby offering inspiring stories, campaigns, stalls, entertainment, workshops and activities to make a difference for girls and women. Our group has a membership; members are consulted about the annual event and other supporting projects which are managed overall by our elected trustees. |
