Purpose | To promote kindness and to prevent or suppress cruelty to animals with particular reference to Tameside and Glossop. |
Services | Companion animals, farm animals, animal experimentation, wild animals, fundraising, community animal action days, boarding, rehoming, fostering, microchipping, neutering (branch animals), assisted neutering, assisted treatment and veterinary vouchers. |

Opening Times | We don't have paid staff or opening times. Appointment system in force. Answerphone 24/7, messages collected in the evenings. Committee meetings last Thursday of each month. |
Eligibility Criteria | Everyone from all sectors of the community can access advice on animal welfare and rehome animals looking for new homes dependant on ability to provide suitable accommodation. Welfare neutering and treatment vouchers are issued only to residents in receipt of certain means tested benefits. |
