| Purpose | Insight Healthcare is a Primary Care Psychological Therapy Service; part of Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT). |
| Services | Counselling Derby and Derbyshire Our Derby and Derbyshire service provides free and confidential talking therapies to anyone aged 18+ years and registered with a GP in the Derby/Derbyshire area. Get started What we can help with We accept self-referrals, as well as from GPs and other health professionals, and can help you if you are struggling with common mental health problems such as: Anxiety Depression and low mood Panic and agoraphobia Health anxiety Social anxiety Phobias Insomnia Stress Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) Trauma Bereavement and loss Body dysmorphia Disordered eating patterns If you would like to learn more about the common mental health issues we can support, please visit our How are you feeling? section. The therapies we offer To support people with their difficulties, we offer different therapies such as: Webinars CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) Digital CBT (online therapy course) Guided self-help based on CBT EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing) IPT (interpersonal therapy) Counselling The best therapy will depend on your particular situation. Employment support Within our service we also have specialist employment advisors who can support you if your mental health has been affected by work. For example, you might want to get back into work, have been affected by furlough or working from home, have been made redundant, or be experiencing other work-related problems. This service is available to all clients who are attending therapy at our Derby/Derbyshire service.
