Purpose | We aim to provide information and support to people affected by Parkinson's, to raise awareness and a better understanding about the condition and its impact on day to day life, and to support research into finding better treatments and a cure for the condition. We organise social meetings and sometimes arrange a speaker, and there is always time to chat over a cuppa. For up to date information about our activities please visit https://www.parkinsons.org.uk You can also access support from our Parkinson’s Adviser Service. We provide free, confidential, one-to-one information and practical help around all things Parkinsons related, including benefits and employment, blue badge schemes, carer's support, housing, social care etc. The service is there for anyone affected by the condition, including carers, family and friends.
