Services Making Derbyshire Safer Metal Detecting Association. We are a small group of individual detectorists  who started off buddying up informally in the early 1990s We are dedicated to safely removing  sharps and used syringes from areas accessible  by children, wildlife and the public, plus we also try to save casual loss relics and coins too from the ever increasing environmental pollution in our environment.

Eligibility Criteria People have to prove the authenticity of all electronic equipment used in our lovely hobby. Applicants for membership have to undertake and pass a six month metal detecting monitoring course.
Meeting Place We are organised very differently to other clubs and associations, so we don't have meetings etc. Members are expected to buddy up informally
Service Costs Membership is FREE.
