Services

LD Carers Direct is a confidential  helpline for family carers, run by carers. The  Helpline  can be used by carers who need  to talk,  ask questions, to be listened to,  need  information and feel supported. 
The Helpline also offers training and development support opportunities. We work with all carers, but have specialist knowledge of  all aspects of learning disability and special needs . Our project delivers training to all groups and communities of interest,  to create circles of support around our carer communities. Our work  also includes:-
Volunteer opportunities for re entry into employment.
Carers workshops in relaxation and stress management, digital inclusion and  health and wellbeing.
Community leadership training with groups and individuals.
Social Media Surgeries for community groups and individuals.
